God Talk: God’s Voice in Art

January 27 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

January 27 | Monday | 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Religious art today takes many forms from electronic media to traditional painting and sculpture. Some Christian traditions mistrust the human imagination and art, while others actively cultivate it. Join Dr. Jeffrey Mahan of the Iliff School of Theology, art historian Dr. Annette Stott of Denver University, and Sandy Ceas, founding Director of the Christos Collective of Christian artists, for a lively and participatory discussion of Christian art: how it’s changed, how it’s been understood, and how art can play a role in our own spiritual lives today.
