Men’s Breakfast

April 2 @ 8:30 am

Breakfast begins at 8:30 AM. Speaker (Lana Banbury, St. Andrew Executive Director of Operations) from 9 AM β€” 10 AM.
Cost: Suggested donation of $10 per person.

All persons are invited to attend the St. Andrew Men’s Ministry monthly breakfast on Saturday April 2 at 9 a.m. for a  presentation by Lana Banbury, St. Andrew’s Executive Director of Operations.

What does it take to run a large church like St. Andrew?

You might say that Lana, who is an attorney, is our business and building operations manager who runs much of  the church. She will share with us what is new and planned and challenging in many areas, and she will answer our questions.

To give you an idea of the scope of her responsibilities, according to our 2021 organizational chart, the following areas report to Lana: facilities (maintenance), preschool, finance and human resources, technical services (audio visual), communications, programming teams (music, children’s, youth, outreach, and hospitality). She and the pastors report to our senior Pastor Mark Feldmeir, who is at the top of our organization chart. (Our church council is our top governing body).

Lana is a Colorado-licensed attorney, certified business coach and board facilitator with The Alternative Board. In previous roles, Lana served as business owner, general counsel, operations officer, and corporate and transactional attorney advising business owners on running, exiting or expanding their businesses. Her current role at St. Andrew is her favorite allowing her to serve God – and her church community – using her gifts and skills. Lana is the mother of two adult daughters and has been married to Bowen for nearly 30 years. Originally from Detroit, Lana has also lived in Honolulu and Brasilito, Costa Rica. Lana holds a juris doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, and a bachelor of arts degree in public policy from Occidental College in Los Angeles.

A buffet breakfast is served at 8:30 (for a requested $10 per person donation) and the speaker presentation is from 9 to 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
