It’s September and we are learning that we can be brave because God is always with us!
This week we learn the story of Rahab, a brave woman who showed lots of courage by helping to hide the sneaky spies in her town of Jericho. God kept her and her family safe!
While on the go, say: “God is always with us and can help us be brave.” Tell your child something brave you saw them do.
As you give your child a bath, say: “God is always with us so we don’t have to be afraid. God is always with you even when (name something your child is currently afraid to do).
Play hide-n-seek in a fun new way while remembering the two sneaky spies that Rahab saved.
Cuddle with your child and pray: “Everyone gets afraid sometimes, but God helps us to remember that we can do scary things because you are with us always.”
