Morning Prayer is one of the two daily worship practices of the earliest Christians, originating before there were church buildings. Using shared and ancient words, they gathered in the morning and evening to pray in order to make God, and the things of God, the first and last thoughts of the day, honoring the human rhythms of waking and sleeping and the earth’s rhythms of sunrise and sunset.
Join us for a communal prayer and worship experience using many of the same ancient words that those early Christians did (e.g. – Psalm 63 and the Canticle of Zachary (Luke 1:68-79), which prophesies the coming of the light to illumine the darkness.)
